About Select Ergonomics
Select Ergonomics was founded by Dr. Allison P. Sevillano, PT, DPT, ATP, CEAS, AOEAS. Allison Sevillano graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2004 with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She went on to further pursue her doctoral degree while working full time, and graduated from Temple University in 2008 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In 2013, Dr. Sevillano became a Rehabilitation and Engineering Society of North America (RESNA) certified Assistive Technology Professional. She now serves a Teaching Faculty member there. She was accredited by The Back School of Atlanta as a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) in February of 2015 and an Advanced Office Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (AOEAS) in July of 2015. Allison Sevillano has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings, including hospitals, schools, and private clinics, giving her a broad range of insights and experiences.
Dr. Sevillano's philosophy is to offer a holistic approach to injury prevention by not solely assessing a client's workstation, but to evaluate their biomechanics and postural tendencies, and work to improve these factors simultaneously.
Select Ergonomics is not an equipment vendor and has no external incentive to recommend equipment. Allison attempts to utilize or modify available equipment when redesigning workstations whenever possible, and makes cost effective equipment recommendations when an item is not available.
Dr. Sevillano personally performs onsite worksite assessments throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area, and is also available to present educational seminars for corporate wellness events.
